It’s been a while since anyone has heard from Inverse‘s first half since the group disbanded in 2009 (the other half, being Tunji), but that’s because California native Toby Ganger has been working hard in the studio cooking up some new material for his upcoming album Evolutionary. “Sunshine Blues” is the telling first single that gives us a glimpse into the overall organic sound the album will take on. Featuring Deacon The Villain (of CunninLynguists), the single describes a subject most of us can relate to: putting up with a day-to-day existence in order to make our dreams come true (don’t I know that feeling all too well). It is an honest and moving initial drop that is sure to keep fans clamoring for more.

P.S. – The 2011 QN5 Megashow and After Party pics will be posted this week…promise! I didn’t forget!
